We rotate partners during classes, so you’ll have the chance to practice your steps with everyone
Being in the dance industry for many years, we have seen many couples who met in classes and took it all the way to the altar; and that’s what inspired us to create group dating dance classes under the brand Date & Dance. We knew that running a speed dating event during a dance class would work perfectly. Dance classes and fun and relaxed, as soon as the class starts you feel at ease and enjoy the moment without worrying too much about your date, so you can show the best of you, your true self. Dancing itself is transforming, it brings a lot of fun to peoples’ lives. To have the opportunity to learn how to dance and meet the love of your life at the same time, that’s way too good!
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our receptionist with a welcome drink.
As you enter our studio, you’ll see lots of new faces. Maybe someone you like.
We’ll give you 15 min to mingle with other participants before we start the class.
When the class starts, you’ll be greeted by our instructors, who will make you feel at ease straight away.
We’ll start with a quick warm-up, and then partner-up to start learning the moves. A random partner will be assigned to you.
After one song, you will switch on to a new partner and so on, so you’ll have the chance to dance with everyone.
At the end of the class, you’ll be given a form where you’ll write the names of the people you liked. If they liked you too, we’ll put you in contact.
We run classes for 2 age groups: 20 – 35 and 30 – 45

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would meet the love of my life in a speed danting dance class.
The dating scene has always been terrifying for me. The idea of having to put myself out there and meeting people made me feel nervous and afraid of those awkward moments. However, when I heard of Date & Dance and its speed dating concept, I decided to give dating one more go as this seemed a more relaxed approach to the usually odd speed dating meetings.
Coming to Date & Dance classes for the first time, I was met with smiles and laughter, which made me feel at ease straight away.
There were no awkward silences or uncomfortable moments like in other singles events, and I felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as I walked in the door.
I liked the idea of being in a dance class with lots of students because I knew that it would be a chance to meet more than 20 guys at a time, make new friends, and possibly find a good match.
The class was run by very experienced instructors who led us through the steps and gave us time to practice with all the recently met gentlemen in the class. I got the chance to dance with each one more than once, which gave me the opportunity to know a bit more about them.
The class was fun, and we were organised in a circle where we rotated partners. It didn’t matter that I was a terrible dancer who stood on everyone’s toes, we were all laughing and having lots of fun. It was truly an amazing social experience.
Having no experience in dance was not a problem, as the teachers knew exactly what to say and what to teach to break the ice and help me connect with the other students in a very relaxed way. They made everything easy to understand and gave us all the best moves to connect with our dance partners.
After the dance class was finished, most of us hung around for a chat, and that’s when Adam came to me asking if I had enjoyed the class. We talked for a while and he asked me if I’d come to classes on the following week, and I said yes. For 4 weeks we met in classes until he finally asked me out!
There were always plenty of opportunities to go out to dedicated social dancing events all together, which makes meeting people easy and relaxed.
We started seeing each other often, and as every girl, I love a man that can lead me on the dance floor and make me feel special, so I suggested we continued to take dancing classes (not dating
classes though, hehe), which we still do till these days.
As most dance stories, mine ends in magic. Not only have my dance partner and I performed together on stage, but we are engaged to be married next year. We are just one of the many couples that have met at D&D.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I would meet the love of my life in a dance class.
My advice to anyone who is afraid to go dancing or to meet new people, is don’t be! There is no better way to have fun, make friends and more often than not, find your true love.
